Paper Chains At Christmas Time

And so we get to the truely random style posting that this thing was designed for. Heres how i do it. I use a service called netvibes to create a “Random” noise factory. Essentialy what it does is grab random elements from the web, photos from Flickr, wikipedia articles, stuff like that.

Then i just start typing about the first thing that i think about, the first latent memory or new original creative thought that comes to mind.
Think of it like channeling, without the lavender, shoulder pads and pretension.

Like just then i got an image a paper chain thing that kids make for christmas. I remember making them at primary school for like the last 3 weeks of the year, just filling up the classroom with pointless chains of paper. The last month of school was always a writeoff in terms of learning. It was just do what you want time really. The kids were over it, the teachers were over it. Everyone just wanted to start holidays.

Who were they kidding?

The Koan of Transition

Enjoy what you have while you got it, everything you think you gain today you also lose.

A gain in wealth for a loss of days left living.

You think you hold it all in your hands, but the sands of time slip slowly through your feet. You are an empty vessel, with no cap , no seal and no base. Like a hollow peice of bamboo.

You can not hold anything. It is gone before you know it. Water poured in the top pushes water from the bottom.

It is a game you can not win. You are not meant to win. A new job means more stress, a new car means repayments.

The scales can not be beaten, Not on this or any scale.

Sandox Hell

I think that after the initial fun of getting this site indexed, it has been sandboxed by google over the last few days, as the pages are not coming up in the searches that they once appeared in.

That really defeats the purpose of what this is about, and so i hope that none of my SEO twiddling has had any negative effects on the spiders that crawl over it.

So please, techo-arachnids, come back and look at the lovely data streams that i provide for your pleasure.

Being in the sandbox is the website equivalent of being in hell, or purgatory at least. Some form of christian metaphysical boogey-place anyway :)

The incentive is to keep on posting

I suppose the incentive is to keep on posting and build up the SEO juice here. I mean, each of these posts takes about 5 minutes to write, SEO, tag and submit to social media via a whole set of wordpress magick that goes along with it in the background.

I am just about to install a translator plugin as well, that will pump this baby out in 12 different languages and spread the word even further.

So i am just going to keep on posting, keyword mining and spreading the net

The Best online crm software

This is a break in the regular scheduled program to talk about the worlds best online customer relationship management software, or CRM.

What is the January Solution?

The phrase January Solution appeared before me this morning, as I ate my cereal and got my mind together before starting work.

A search on this term resulted in no answers, and so I offer some possible explanations.

DEFINITION

Perhaps a January Solution is an idea that takes the events of the previous year, and puts them in a manageable form so that a new year can be started without repeating the mistakes of the previous one. A January Solution is like a new years resolution of sorts, a way of wiping the slate clean and starting again.

Hey perhaps that’s what I need to do with my working life a bit as well at the moment. Go back and work on some projects that came up earlier in the year, but were abandoned as shinier looking fruits appeared beside the path as the year went on

SECOND DEFINITION
It could also be the title of a not yet made 60’s retro spy movie, like James Bond but not a rip off. It has that action and adventure title to it though doesn’t it. Maybe it is a title of a novel that I will write in the near future. I am 100% sure that someone will write a novel with this title in the next year or so

25% of All Google Searches are NEW

To me this figure is partial proof for some of the concepts that I have been developing over the past few years. It is staggering to think that 25% of queries that google sees on a daily basis are things that have NEVER been searched for before.

Or, more exactly, they are things that have never been searched for before in that way.

Where is this information, this new form of questions coming from. Where are they appearing in people’s minds. This difference in search volume could be thought of as search ‘noise’. It will appear in googles keyword stats, and then people who are in the know will start to create content to specificly match these queries. It is digital evolution.

These new search queries are turning up spontaneously in the minds of people, and represent a change in the evolution of the meme-sphere of the planet, the sum total of the direction of thoughts of all people. So where does this NEW though come from.

Is there something in consciousness that is connected to a source of “thought noise.”? I posit that there is a force that ensures that peoples thoughts are not linear and only contain things that they have seen before, but instead mix up and create new synergies, as well as unexpected mutations of the contents of their minds.

Stumble This In

The tag suggest thing on this blog thinks that this song is about:flame, hearts, love and many things. Oh yeah, and firelight as well. I just looked at the stumbleapon logo and this popped into my head. I wonder what other songs will come up in context of those keywords.

So in the spirit of this blog, and me just posting whatever pops into my here is some pure 70’s cheese. Ballad Duets are cool too.

Chorus:

Our love is alive and so we begin
Foolishly layin’ our hearts on the table, stumblin’ in
Our love is a flame burnin’ within
Now and then fire light will catch us, stumblin’ in

CHRIS:
Wherever you go, whatever you do
You know these reckless thoughts of mine are followin’ you

SUZI:
I’ve fallen for you, whatever you do
‘Cause baby you’ve shown me so many things that I never knew

Whatever it takes, baby, I’ll do it for you

(Chorus)

(Instrumental break)

CHRIS:
You were so young, ah, but I was so free

SUZI:
I may have been young but baby, that’s not what I wanted to be

CHRIS:
Well you were the one

SUZI:
Oh why was it me?

CHRIS:
‘Cause baby you’ve shown me so many things that I’d never seen

Whatever you need, baby, you got it from me

(Chorus)

CHRIS:
Ah, stumblin’ in, mmm, stumblin’ in

Now and then fire light will catch us, stumblin’ in

SUZI:
Oh, stumblin’ in, I’m stumblin’ in

Foolishly layin’ our hearts on the table, stumblin’ in

Welcome To The Used Car Lot

The defualt mode for adsense ads on this domain continues to be ads about car yards, and new models of cars. Maybe i should start writing about some different kinds of things on here.

I think that a lot of the adsense ads just pick up the context from the title. So i am guessing, even before it is posted that this one is going to have ads about cars on it too.

Which is a shame, becuase ads about home loans, and mortages, and insurance, especially things like life insurance, health insurance, car insurance seem to do pretty well. High click through rates, and they pay quite well when someone does click them.

I really feel that the car market is where the first signs of the end of growth for modern civilization are going to be felt.. I mean, people don’t always need to have a brand new car. It is a commodity that is not a necessity. The car industry is based on the consumerist notion that once a car gets a few years old, then it is not as good as the day it was made.. Which is just wrong. What is the point of engineering and manufacturing these costly things if no one wants them after a few years..
