Ok, I have big plans in store for this domain over the next few weeks. There is so much interesting information out there that needs to be shared, talked about, encouraged and expressed.

It is so hard not to speak about things like consciousness and the nature of reality without sounding massively new age. That is not my intention. At all.

So when I say that we are on the edge of an age where Quantum Physics , Consciousness Studies, Genetics, Information Theory and what would have once been termed The Paranormal, Shamanism, as well as Buddhist thought, Occult theory and the insights gained via psychedelics will all converge, and we begin to see the similarities between these areas. I can see them, and so can a lot of other people. It’s just quite hard to put it into words. Well at least words that are not just empty rehashes of the same old theories.

I mean words that can be used, expanded on. Tested and poked and prodded. Shaken until more truth drops from them.

From the history of man people have speculated on the nature of reality and conciousness, they just have not had the language or conceptual framework to make any sense out of it. For instance, say that reality behaved in much the same way as computer software. It is only in this present age that we would begin to be able to grasp this in any percievable way. Before that it would be very vauge analogies and wild metaphors which would serve as explanations.

Back in the swing of things

My laptop decided to die the other day, a memory leak caused a hard drive error, which could not be fixed. Right when i was flat out busy as well. So I have rebuilt it and am now working and the laptop, nice and cleaned up, a fresh installation.

So back into the posting swing of things again this week.

Also taking steps to simplify my life, spend more time creating and less time working. Oh yeah, and also some time for living.

Google Likes It When Your Domain Looks Alive

From getting back into posting things back here on InformationReality.com, it looks as if Google really appreciates it if your domain looks alive. The more I post, the more organic traffic finds the site, which must mean that whether or not your site appears in certain searches depends on how relevant google thinks you are.

Which makes sense, becuase it is hard to get your head around how many dead and abandoned sites there are out there that have been forgotten since the start of the internet. Billions of pages i would hazard a guess. All lost in some digital limbo, forgotten by author and reader alike.

Off all the sites on the internet, i wonder what proportion of them actually get read every day. 1%? 0.000001%. Would be an interesting stat to know.

Stupid Evolving Internet Marketing

A good idea for a domain like this is to just pump it full of content, just write and write exclusive content, that is say things in a novel way that haven’t been said before to attract traffic. Make a whole heap of social media profiles where you just spout the same random gibberish, and get it propogated as far as possible via rss across the internet.

Dont worry about

building an audience
building a list
building a personal profile

Be the antithesis of all of that, and just get mountains of content out there are as quickly as possible. It would be interesting to see what the time difference / payoff equation came out equaling when you compared this to a more “by the book” internet marketing approach that i normally follow.

Just create stupid sites, which evolve over time to be content rich domains with heaps of monetisation things all over them. Like every third post should be about an affiliate product, and then the few around it should be about the same subject. All of the posts should take a maximum of five minutes to write, and have around 400 words minimum. Try to seo and keyword write them to some degree if you can.

What the aim of this is to create a clientless, prdouctless, business less way to create ongoing income via the web that may be done anywhere

Wikipedia Content Creation System

The main way of writing this blog is by hunting down random wikipedia articles, and then streaming out my thoughts on the subject and giving it the best SEO tags that i can find.

To do this I use the following tool

By doing this, i can get articles indexed on this page in a matter of an hour, getting to the top of google for the query string that is the article title.

It is my hypothesis that if i do this long enough, there will be a long chain of results that will result in some form of passive adsense income. It is also a great way to get ideas flowing as it gives your mind 100% free reign to write about anything that comes to mind.

The semantic goldrush

Well actually the site has got two which is cool. One from Seamus, and the other from some guy who took my quick written CRM article, which was a thinly vieled insult in disguise.

So that proves a couple of things. 1, that the site has been taken out of googles sandbox, and is now being indexed as it should. this is great becuase i can start staking out keyword clusters for this domain now, and write about any new terms that i hear. We are in the middle of a semantic gold rush at the moment, although no one really knows it.

The sites that can stake out the tastiest keywords for the future will become the strongest future online plaers, the domains that will get excellent long tail traffic in the near future. If you think of a new term, write a blog post about it, and you have put your flag down on that idea on the internet, as long as your site is indexed by google.

the comment also proves that 2) some people take these non thought of, quickly written stream of conciousness articles are good enough to leave a comment against.

Paper Chains At Christmas Time

And so we get to the truely random style posting that this thing was designed for. Heres how i do it. I use a service called netvibes to create a “Random” noise factory. Essentialy what it does is grab random elements from the web, photos from Flickr, wikipedia articles, stuff like that.

Then i just start typing about the first thing that i think about, the first latent memory or new original creative thought that comes to mind.
Think of it like channeling, without the lavender, shoulder pads and pretension.

Like just then i got an image a paper chain thing that kids make for christmas. I remember making them at primary school for like the last 3 weeks of the year, just filling up the classroom with pointless chains of paper. The last month of school was always a writeoff in terms of learning. It was just do what you want time really. The kids were over it, the teachers were over it. Everyone just wanted to start holidays.

Who were they kidding?

Sandox Hell

I think that after the initial fun of getting this site indexed, it has been sandboxed by google over the last few days, as the pages are not coming up in the searches that they once appeared in.

That really defeats the purpose of what this is about, and so i hope that none of my SEO twiddling has had any negative effects on the spiders that crawl over it.

So please, techo-arachnids, come back and look at the lovely data streams that i provide for your pleasure.

Being in the sandbox is the website equivalent of being in hell, or purgatory at least. Some form of christian metaphysical boogey-place anyway

I suppose the incentive is to keep on posting and build up the SEO juice here. I mean, each of these posts takes about 5 minutes to write, SEO, tag and submit to social media via a whole set of wordpress magick that goes along with it in the background.

I am just about to install a translator plugin as well, that will pump this baby out in 12 different languages and spread the word even further.

So i am just going to keep on posting, keyword mining and spreading the net
